Today is Our Birthday!
It was one year ago today, August 6, 2025, when we launched Empres Pictures. My, how time flies when you’re doing nothing…
I will never forget how the Empres Pictures logo design came to me while sitting in my car one early morning. On that day, seven days had passed since my finger was crushed while at work. And to this day, I can still remember the poorly placed stitching on my finger unraveling, causing blood to seep out from between severed skin. The pain, that pain is unforgettable. Forget driving. Blood was all over my hand. Then out of the blue, the logo concept hit me.
Gotta make fun of myself. Seriously, saying I am an aspiring filmmaker is getting to look ridiculous. But I’m this close to making it happen.
