Feathers Are Free

And also freeing..,

Finding a feather

Have you ever been walking along a walkway to work, or to the store, or to just take a walk and see a feather on the way?

I have. Plenty of times. The surprise of seeing a feather on the sidewalk, or even in the gutter, always makes me happy. Holding a feather in my hand gives me a sense of peace.

My Findings

They came in every size. All were found somewhere random. The sixth white feather was found right below my car door. My car was parked at a hotel parking lot in Arizona. This experience brought me a sense of tranquility. God’s presence. As if I’m being protected by an angel.

May 2026

A flurry of fluffy feathers were found on the sidewalk. Before I began my workday shift, I decided to take a short walk and soak in some sun. Finding this beautiful clump of feathers webbed together was a special finding. They must have come from the same bird.

Up Close

No wonder the native Americans cultivated the feather in their tribal beliefs and mythology. Looking close at a feather has a sense of spiritual enlightenment.

My next finding

The moment I hold my next feather finding in the palm of my hand, I will take a picture of it …in the palm of my hand.

I hope you have a feather finding, too!
